La lucidez de Hélène Cixous regresa con esta nueva edición de Las ensoñaciones de la mujer salvaje. La autora retrata su infancia y adolescencia en Argelia y la profunda huella que deja en su vida y en su «escribir-pensar». Expone una línea de pensamiento teórico que propone una «escritura femenina» en la que se arma un «placer de texto» que es, sobre todo, combativo. Cixous nos pide que entremos sin corazas en este texto sutil que discurre inesperado, que dice diciendo -porque el gerundio es el tiempo de la negociación- y que en algunos momentos posee una inigualable prosa poética, pues sabe que no se puede hablar de las nuevas realidades con las viejas proposiciones del lenguaje. Llegamos en Las ensoñaciones de la mujer salvaje a un texto que juega con el lenguaje, que toma las palabras como armas políticas. Hélène Cixous juega también con el género literario, entre la autoficción y la prosa testimonial, pero sobre todo escribe para construir un remanso de memoria y como forma de estar en el mundo.
